ChillerOne Helps Reduce Global Warming with Eco-Friendly Refrigerants
ChillerOne cares deeply about the planet and works hard to make our products safe for the environment by using eco-friendly refrigerants in our chillers. These special refrigerants help cool water and air but produce less pollution that causes global warming.
We switch to refrigerants that have much lower Global Warming Potential (GWP). This means they release fewer harmful gases into the air compared to older types. At the same time, these new refrigerants help our chillers work better and use energy more efficiently.
For many years, we integrate our chillers with safe refrigerants like R404A and R134A which don’t harm the ozone layer. We also use R407C, R448A, and R513A. These new refrigerants can lower GWP by 55& to 67%, which means less contribution to global warming. Despite these changes, ChillerOne products still provide powerful cooling with little to no loss performance. In some cases, they even work up to 10% more efficiently.

ChillerOne Uses Solar Power to Run Our Entire Facility
As part of our commitment to sustainability, ChillerOne has expanded rooftop solar array to fully power our operations with clean energy. The new 793.1 kilowatt system installed this year features 2234 solar panels that generate more than 900 mega-watt hours of electricity annually.
This solar expansion completely offsets ChillerOne’s electric load, allowing us to operate entirely on renewable solar energy. By reducing reliance on traditional power sources, ChillerOne continues to lower our carbon footprint and demonstrate leadership in sustainable manufacturing.
